San Antonio City Council Passes on Economic Opportunity

By August 17, 2018Uncategorized

Earlier this year the City of San Antonio passed on an opportunity to host the 2020 Republican convention.  This is yet another example of the partisan politics that people are tired of.  Regardless of whether you are a Republican or Democrat, the positive economic impact a national convention could have on our city is undeniable.  The Mayor and the left-leaning city council knew this, yet they did everything they could to deny the city the opportunity to bid for the convention.  This has to stop.  It’s ok to have policy disagreements, but regardless of where we are politically – the good of our community has to take priority over politics.
