Councilman Marc Whyte Announces Re-Election Campaign for San Antonio District 10
San Antonio, TX – Councilman Marc Whyte officially announced his bid for re-election to represent District 10 on the San Antonio City Council.
Since taking office, Whyte has worked to make District 10 an even better place to live, work, and raise a family. He addressed residents’ priorities in the city budget by doubling the homestead exemption to 20%, committed $137 million for safer streets and sidewalks, and ensured our first responders were fully staffed by funding 117 new police officer positions and 41 new firefighter positions.
“We’ve made significant progress in addressing our residents’ top priorities, critical issues like enhancing public safety, improving infrastructure, and ensuring transparency and accountability throughout city government,” said Councilman Whyte. “I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished for San Antonio families –and I’m running again to keep working for our D10 community.”
